Welders Needed! – Days, Afternoons or Nights
Overview
Our client in Waterloo is looking for experienced welders with certification in GMAW and FCAW/MCAW welding to join their team in a full-time permanent position!
Come join this established company in a full-time permanent position with an hourly rate between $29.00/hour and $32.00/hour depending on experience PLUS comprehensive benefits plan, RRSP matching and EAP program!
Welders must be flexible to work any shift; on days, afternoons or nights depending on where the need is and will earn an extra Shift premium of $0.80/ hour for afternoons and $1.05/ hour for nights.
Candidates chosen must also be available to work overtime on a regular basis!
Welders with good experience but NOT certified will also be accepted at $27.00/hour!
Required Skills:
- Experience as hardwire/fluxcore welder (ideally hold a CWB certification)
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Ability to read and measure using fractions
- Knowledge of welding and manufacturing best practices, safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Professional Certification GMAW, and FCAW is required (those without certification may be considered and will be certified as a condition of employment)
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset
