Overview

Our client employer in Waterloo Region is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in a temporary to full-time permanent role!

Hours are: 7:00am to 4:30pm with a half hour lunch and Friday is 7:00am to 11:00am.

Pay: $22.55/hr

 

Job Requirements:

  • Measure using height gauge, caliper, micrometer, other measuring tools
  • Problem solve and search for the root cause of a problem to aide in corrective actions
  • Generate defect reports for non-conforming product (internal and supplier)
  • Examine parts of products for flaws or defects by checking dimensions or other product characteristics against product specifications
  • Strong commitment to continual improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to be a team player and work independently
  • Strong attendance record
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, word and excel
  • Have experience with first article, in-process and final inspections
  • Must be able to foster strong and collaborative relationships with management, peers, and production team members.
