MIG/TIG Welder – Waterloo
Overview
Calling all skilled welders with MIG/TIG experience! Grand River Personnel has an exciting opportunity for you in Waterloo.
Pay Rate: $21.50 hourly
Shift: Day shift
Responsibilities:
- Weld and polish parts to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, set up and square large fabricated frames.
- Collaborate with a welder in a welding booth.
- Safely operate drill press, grinder, cut off saw, and hand tools for general fabrication.
- Assist in loading parts into the welding JIG.
- Perform physical welding using a hand gun.
- Complete other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of TIG Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to safety requirements.
- Excellent attendance record.
- CSA approved safety footwear is required.
