Machine Operators – Ayr, ON
Overview
On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is currently seeking Machine Operators to support the production of automotive components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment that offers paid lunch breaks and training opportunities to learn multiple machines within the facility.

The facility is not accessible by public transit. A reliable personal vehicle is required. Applicants relying on shared transportation will not be considered. Students are not eligible for this role.
This is a Full-time position from Monday to Friday with periodic Mandatory Overtime on Saturdays.
Day shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm – $18.50/hr
Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm $18.50+ $0.50 shift premium
Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am – $18.50 +$0.75 shift premium
* + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and automated machinery to produce automotive parts
- Handle and move larger components for assembly
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure production accuracy
- Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
- Complete required documentation and reporting
- Meet daily production targets and quotas
Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic math and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to accurately record production data
- Able to maintain quality standards while working at production pace
- CSA-approved safety footwear and safety glasses required
- All additional PPE will be provided
