Overview

On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is looking for a Mechanical Assembler / Truck Body Builder to join a growing team in Kitchener. In this role, you will assemble high-quality mobile equipment using blueprints and shop instructions, contributing to the production of purpose-built vehicles.

Please note, you will be required to meet with our Recruiter in Kitchener, ON to complete a registration in our office in order to be considered.

Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr

Shift: Days: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble truck bodies and equipment, including mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw, and rivet components using hand and power tools
  • Perform QA checks and sign off on completed work
  • Read and interpret blueprints and assembly notes
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company
  • Ability to follow priorities and work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attendance record and attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • CSA Approved Footwear
