Experienced Mechanical Assembler – Automotive
Overview
On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is looking for a Mechanical Assembler / Truck Body Builder to join a growing team in Kitchener. In this role, you will assemble high-quality mobile equipment using blueprints and shop instructions, contributing to the production of purpose-built vehicles.
Please note, you will be required to meet with our Recruiter in Kitchener, ON to complete a registration in our office in order to be considered.

Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr
Shift: Days: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Assemble truck bodies and equipment, including mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw, and rivet components using hand and power tools
- Perform QA checks and sign off on completed work
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly notes
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Desire to learn and grow with the company
- Ability to follow priorities and work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Strong attendance record and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- CSA Approved Footwear
