CNC Operator/General Labourer – Waterloo
Overview
On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting reliable and motivated candidates for an open vacancy as a General Labourer / CNC Operator.
This position is ideal for individuals with previous CNC manufacturing experience who are comfortable handling large materials and working in a fast-paced production environment. This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start date.
Students are not eligible for this role.
Rate of pay: $20/hr + 4% vacation earnings added on each pay.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 3:15pm
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload CNC machinery
- Use an overhead suction crane to load material sheets onto CNC equipment
- Organize and sort completed parts
- Perform general production and material handling duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with other shop duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery and in metal fabrication
- Experience using an overhead crane or similar material handling equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Able to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- CSA Footwear
- Ability to lift 25-30 kg
