Experienced Assembly Worker – Cambridge
Overview
On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is seeking an experienced Assembler for a position in Cambridge.

Shifts:
Nights: 9:30pm – 8:00am Monday-Thursday – Must be able to train on Day shift, Monday – Friday until ready to work independently.
This is a FULL-TIME position.
Pay Rate: $20.80/hr (+$1.00 SP)
Responsibilities:
- Screw, clip, glue, bond, or otherwise assemble metal parts and components to form final products
- Use of hand tools, electric staple gun, drill and glue gun.
- Part checks – check final product of fellow assemblers prior to packaging.
- Ensure quality by checking manufactured items for defects and for conformance to specifications, visually or using sample models and instruments
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products to required customer specifications.
- Clean work areas and equipment
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
- Experience in a metal fabrication setting
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Notable job stability
- Completion of high school and or equivalent experience
- Proficient with computer
- Able to read work orders and part numbers (alpha and numeric)
- Excellent verbal and communication skills in English
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift weight of up to 40 lbs.
- CSA Approved Footwear
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
