Accounts Receivable – Contract
Overview
Our client in Cambridge is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable candidate to join their team on a contract position with the potential for permanent!
Hourly rate: $20.50/hour
Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year AR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an uncanny ability to handle a heavy workload.
- Driven by deadlines and extremely detail oriented. Being hyper-organized is engrained in who you are.
- Aspire to prove to people that speed and accuracy can coexist.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of staff in the organization.
- Enjoy working as part of a team while still very comfortable taking an idea and running with it on your own.
- Embrace change because you know that any process can always be improved upon.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint: able to create documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Receive shipping documents from the shipping department.
- Compare with sales orders.
- Create invoices for all BOL’s received.
- Account reconciliations as needed.
- Enter all new pricing on Just food.
- Reply to all queries regarding pricing and invoices.
- Follow up on discrepancies on payments and payments not received.
- Issue credit notes, File all invoices, Revise orders as needed.
- Enter deposits in ERP, Apply deposits.
- Update new prices on Sales order.
- Send out the shipped not invoices on a daily basis.
- Run aged receivable at month end after all invoices and deposits are completed.
- Prepare monthly commissions after all deposits are completed.
- Complete all other required monthly tasks in the time frame provided.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
