Experienced Bartender / Bar Supervisor – Waterloo
Overview

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with the client, so you’ll be part of the family from day one!
Shift: Full time, must be open to a flexible schedule, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the bar operations during your shift, especially during closing hours
- Execute all closing duties with accuracy and professionalism, including balancing cash, securing the premises, and finalizing end-of-day reports
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service while creating high-quality drinks in a fast-paced setting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar — anticipating needs before they arise
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
- Work independently while maintaining open communication with management and team members
- Handle all responsibilities with a high level of confidentiality and integrity
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision
- Demonstrated experience with closing responsibilities (cash handling, lock-up, reporting)
- Smart Serve certification (mandatory)
- Highly reliable, punctual, and dependable — others can count on you
- Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a team-focused attitude
- Passion for hospitality and upholding a positive atmosphere
