Grand River Personnel is currently recruiting for a Sander and a Finisher for an amazing local furniture company in Kitchener. Great opportunites for those who are looking for a long term career.
Shifts: Days – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
The client will be reviewing all eligible resumes and only qualified candidates will be contacted for the interview process. Most positions will be temp – perm.
High School or Equivalent required.
Previous experience with general labourer assembly- 1 year preferred
Attention to detail and quality would be a high personality trait standard
Continuous movement, standing for long periods and lifting from 5lbs 30lbs+ is required
- Sands products as required (orbital, pneumatic and hand sanding)
- Attention to detail to inspect product
- Colour match as required
- Make team leader aware of quality and/or manufacturing problems encountered
- Transport material
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Other duties as assigned
