Overview

Our client is looking for a professional, polished, and highly organized SALES CONSULTANT for their Jewellery Boutique located in Cambridge, Ontario.

The primary focus of the role is the sales and support of walk-in clients. Additional retail operations responsibilities will include store opening/closing, brand ambassador, merchandising, and inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or College diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers as they arrive
    • Promote sales by assisting customers and offering suggestions
    • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
    • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
    • Answer calls, check phone messages, and respond to inquiries with professionalism
    • Achieve client satisfaction levels
    • Take in repairs, entering into computer system
    • Enter register transactions accurately
  • Retail Operations:
    • Demonstrate tasks to others, promoting consistency in operations
    • May be responsible for open/closing of the store
    • Support Team Leaders and General Manager as needed with specific store operations tasks
    • Support connections with Brand Ambassadors
    • Work on special projects
    • Stock displays and cases with merchandise
    • Practice effective merchandising
    • Responsible for ensuring store appearance is clean and presentable at all times
    • Maintain product knowledge
    • Complete all brand training modules
  • Administrative:
    • Follow store policies, procedures, and promotions
    • Follow security policies
