Overview

Our client in Cambridge is looking for some Purchasing Support people to provide assistance with data entry in their purchasing department!

Main Duties:

  • Manage Customer RFQ’s and processing same with vendors
  • Follow up on RFQ’s/Quotes  with vendors as required
  • Enter/process any Material Correction Sheets claims with MCS Team from vendors if required
  • Expediting of Customer RFQ’s where needed to meet their needs
  • All other job duties as required by Supervisors

Required Skills:

  • Must have GED/ High School Diploma or 0 – 2 years prior purchasing experience
  • Sales and/or customer service experience in a business environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Microsoft Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint; experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One and/or SAP an asset
  • Excellent data entry scores required
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Must have superior customer service skills
  • Must be able to work over-time when required;

This role has the potential to go until March 2019.   $18.00/hour to start!
