Our client, a financial organization in the Waterloo Region, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in a full-time permanent role!
The Inside Sales and Service Representative is accountable to provide service to clients and to cross-sell or up-sell financial products based on client needs.
- Act as Financial Rep to clients who currently do not have a representative in their area.
- Complete calls to clients to create awareness of products available, educate and sell financial products
- Meet with clients to analyze their financial needs and recommend insurance and investment products to suit their needs
- Working with other staff members, handle inbound client and financial adviser inquiries
- Refer potential sales leads and opportunities to outside sales reps who are in the client area
- Maintain strong knowledge of organization Investment products and administrative process
- Complete weekly activity and productivity reporting including number of contacts with potential clients and sales leads.
- Ensure compliance requirements are being adhered to as it relates financial products and sales reps
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Minimum 1-3 years working in the financial services industry
- Life Insurance license or the willingness to get one
- CFP designation or willing to work towards acquiring the designation
- Previous experience in sales with proven skills in sales development and execution
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products
- Ability to work with inbound and outbound telephone calling
- Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and operate in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications quickly
