Overview

Our client, an established business in Breslau is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to work 4-5 hours per day to provide bookkeeping support to one of their businesses!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and send high volume of invoices for completed services to customers
  • Create and send purchase orders as requested by clients
  • Compare amounts received by EFT and cheque with invoice to verify amounts
  • Record cheques and complete deposits
  • Complete collections calls on overdue accounts as needed
  • Update payment schedule on a weekly basis
  • Send invoices with payment to clients for payables
  • Receive and file receipts
  • Complete weekly/ monthly government remittances
  • Match receipts to Credit Card statements and reconcile
  • Bank statement reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Create weekly reports for management regarding cash flow, receivables, income statement
  • Month-end/ year-end preparation of information for financial statements and do adjusting journal entries

Skills Requirements:

  • Accounting or Bookkeeping Diploma or equivalent experience in full-cycle accounting
  • 5 + years of accounting/ bookkeeping experience
  • Able to work 4-5 hours per day
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently
  • Excellent computer skills with Excel, Simply Accounting
  • Ability to understand and follow business processes to ensure accuracy of bookkeeping activities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solver
  • Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
  • Ability to provide great customer service to internal and external customers

This role will be a contract to perm starting at $19.00/hour with additional increases for good performance! Great benefits upon permanent hire!
